All of these increase our emotional baseline and can make us more responsive to stress. Using and passing on DBT Skills to manage unjust experiences is one way to support social justice efforts.

DBT Skills and Using Micro-Interventions

DBT Skills and using Micro-Interventions does not mean that injustice should be tolerated or that it is acceptable. They are a piece of allowing you and other people facing injustice to have as many resources and as much support as possible. They are tools to use when facing difficult environments and/or circumstances.

Bottom Line: What happens to us can increase our stress levels-and this isn't always obvious to others because they can't see what we've been through and how that might be affecting us today.
